It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert W. Tappe of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 15, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mothers, Edith J. Tappe, Jr. (Gamboge) and Melanie Tappe (Mondik); his sons, Matthew Tappe (Emily) and Brian Petras (Melodie); his grandchildren, Zachary, Tyler, Brody and Blake; and his siblings, Donald Tappe, Patty Lecorchick (Tom) and Chuck Tappe (Christine).

Friends and relatives will be received during a memorial visitation on Friday, November 20, 2020 at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont from 2-4 & 6-7:30 p. m. Masks and social distancing required, no more than 25 people in the funeral home at a time. Services and interment will be private for the family.
