She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Cooper and Melvin Cooper. She is survived by: her husband George Angell; her daughter B'Nai Thomas; her stepdaughters, Rachel (Kourtney) and Regina Angell; her grandsons, Amir, Makai Thomas-Luster and Theopolis Yarbrough; and her siblings, Kevin Cooper and Naomi Barnes (Sabrina Tansmore). She is also survived by several other sister and brother-in-laws; nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and countless other loving relatives and friends.
As a two-time Breast Cancer Survivor, Sandy made sure to make annual donations to the Hillman Cancer Center to give another survivor the opportunity to ring the bell like she once did.
