He was predeceased by : his wife Catherine "Sis"; his son-in-law Gary Kozain; and his siblings, Michael, Peter, Andy, John, Frank, Julia and Stephanie.

He is survived by : his daughters, Donna Lee Ruoff and Joyce Kozain; his grandchildren, Jim Ruoff (Beth), Mark Ruoff (Glory), Amy Ruoff-Kulka (Ron), Chris Ruoff (Stephanie), Ranee Fitzwater (John) and Melissa Glenn (Ray); his great grandchildren, Ben, Megan, Katie, Kirk, Kenny, Jared, Samantha, Sarah, Emma, Trinity, Fiona, Gavin, Inessa, Aislinn, Bron, Breanna, Eviana and Ezra; and his great great grandchildren, Ellie, Cameron, Tanner, Dempsey, Lane, Beck and Delilah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
