With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John A. Mowchan of Penn, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael S. Mowchan, Sr. and Susan Mowchan (Matier); and his siblings, Walter Mowchan, Raymond Mowchan, Joseph Mowchan, Michael Mowchan, Jr., Mary Mowchan and Dorothy Fries.
He is survived by: his children, John A. Mowchan, Jr. (Rebecca) of Dillsburg, Bob Mowchan (Michelle) of Owings, MD, Linda Miller (Russell) of Huntingdon and Susan McCreery (Brian) of Latrobe; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Mowchan of Dillsburg, Catherine and Andrew Miller of Huntingdon; and his children, Zachary Mowchan of Dillsburg, Maria Miller of Huntingdon and Matthew McCreery of Latrobe.
