He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Merlin and Lois Merlin; and his former wife Rosalie Merlin. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his sons, Mark (Agnes) and Robert (Sondra); his grandchildren, Joseph, Grace, Graham, Sam and Emmanuel; his great grandchild Wesley; and his stepson Eric Schott.
