He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Heist and Bernice Leathery Heist. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Eric Heist (Brittney) of DuBois and Angela Lipari (Logan) of Brockway; his brothers, Dennis Heist (Rita) of Wellsville, PA, Wayne Heist (Terry) of North Carolina and David Heist (Roseanne) of York, PA; and his grandchildren, Oliver, Lily, Zatanna of August, TJ and Morgan Whitsell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. (1033 4th Ave, Brockway, PA 15824). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
