With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret R. Rakula of Penn, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 25, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Margaret departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Margaret. Though Margaret may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Raetze and Margaret Raetze. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Fulton (Jeanne Passin), Nancy Fulton Johnson (Craig) and Wayne Fulton (Linda); her niece Tracy Merson Gray (Dean); her nephew Gary Merson (Cheryl); and her sister Carole Merson.
She worked at Lansdowne Federal Savings and Loan and was very active in supporting the Polio Foundation during the polio epidemic, managing fund raising and coordinating care as the Foundation's Executive Secretary.
