He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Madelyn and Zachary; his mother Ruth Galya (Michael); his sisters, Susan Galya and Diane Regule (John); his nieces, Hope and Hailey; his nephew Grant Regule; and his pet Max.
During Covid, Michael moved from Colorado back to Pittsburgh to help care for his beloved mother with whom he had a special relationship but shortly after was diagnosed with cancer and spent his last years being cared for and truly loved by his sister, Susan.
