She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellwood Yount and Grace Yount (Geist); her husband Roscoe C. Smathers (Jake); and her siblings, Harry, Annabelle, Bertha Dinger, Norma Burns, Louise Vasbinder, Darl Yount, Harold Yount, Glenn Yount and Clair Yount.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly A. Hook (Bill), Joseph L. Smathers (Suzanne) and Patricia D. Conrad (Keith); her grandchildren, Stephanie D. Hook (Jim Yauger), Steven W. Hook (Stephanie E.), Jacob D. Smathers (Teia), Melissa J. Wical (Justin), Jocelyn G. Russo (Vincent) and Joel A. Conrad (Ashley); and her brother William Yount (Ruby). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
