He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Brant and Edna Brant (Hemminger); and his siblings, Paul Brant (Antionette), Sarah Parsons (Neil), George Brant, Charles Brant (Carol), Mildred Gehrke (Paul), Gerald Brant and Nancy Bozich.
He is survived by: his brother Elmer Brant (Diane); and his niece Patti Gehrke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
