He is survived by: his wife Connie (Berasi); his children, Brock Merat (Shane Brewer) of Penfield, Lori Chittester (Glenn) of Weedville, Melinda Hedlund (Jay) of Weedville and Tracey Carnahan of Hollywood, PA; his siblings, Robert Merat (Lisa), Irvin Merat (Paula), Regina Smith (Ralph) and Brenda Mitchell; and his brother-in-law Robert Blasik. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
