He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter W. "Bull" Simpson, Sr. and Geraldine M. "Pood" Simpson (Morningstar); his siblings, Barbara Bergeron and Robert Kenneth Simpson, Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Simpson (Zerbe) and Michael Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy Brown; his children, William Simpson of Hesston, Shannon Kline (Josh) of Pittsburgh and Avery Simpson of Philadelphia; his siblings, Sharon McConaughey (Ronald) of Huntingdon, Donna Strait (Randy) of McConnellstown and Victor W. Simpson (Robin) of Huntingdon; his mother-in-law Dorothy Brown (Reich) of Huntingdon; and his siblings-in-law, Freddie Bergeron of Louisiana, Kip Brown (Kerri) of Huntingdon and Julie Brown of Petersburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Petersburg-Bethel Presbyterian Church (5435 Bethel Rd, Petersburg, PA 16669). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in remembrance of Walter W. Simpson, Jr. may be made to the Huntingdon County Humane Society, 11371 School House Hollow Rd, Huntingdon, PA 16652.
