She was predeceased by : her husband Stanley Y. Althouse; her parents, Floyd Treffinger and Verna Treffinger (Kirkpatrick); her adoptive father Frank (Donna Falk); her children, Patricia and Perry; and her siblings, Marie Heimbach, Kenneth, Richard and Donald Treffinger.

She is survived by : her brothers, Floyd Treffinger of Pennsburg, Edward Treffinger of East Greenville and David Treffinger (Dyana); and her goddaughters, Sandra (Brandon Bastuba) of Charlotte, NC, Kristen (Preston Ferguson) of Pottstown and Wendy Adam of Pennsburg. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
