He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude H. Kercher and Katie Kercher Sr. (Idle); and his brothers, Claude H. Jr., Luther, Karl and Clyde Kercher.

He is survived by : his close friend Mary Lou Brey; his children, Diane Nagel, Larry Kercher, Kim Kercher and Michelle Boyer; and his stepdaughters, Candy Gessat, Terri Bieber, Beth Brey and Tammy Schneider. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the Red Sox Foundation, P.O. Box 411217, Boston, MA 02241 ([email protected]) in his memory.
