She was predeceased by: her husband Harold R. "Chick" Sands Sr.; her parents, Thomas J. Hagen and Mary Jessie Hagen (Riley); and her siblings, Thomas Jr., Stella, Stanley and Mary Jane.

She is survived by: her sons, Terry L. (Donna Sands), Glenn S. (Barbara Sands), Stuart W. (Debra Sands) and Harold R. Sands Jr. of Coudersport; her grandchildren, Tracy Peart (Joshua Sands), Matthew (Caren Sands), Zachary (Lauren Sands), Emily Sands (Michael Gaul), Jarod (Jennifer Sands), Rachael (Michael Mackie) and Adam (Jenna Sands); and her great grandchildren, Evan, Benjamin, Lukas, Glenn, Gavin, Carter, Luca, Addison, Raelyn, Ronin, Calvin, Preston, Claire, Caroline, Jacob, Noah, Gabriel, Olivia, Emily, Savannah, Nora, Nolan and Brady. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
