It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James P. Standeven of Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Donna G. Standeven (Smith); his parents, Ivan Standeven and Martha Standeven (Brown); and his siblings, Robert Standeven and Dorothy Fitzpatrick.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Griffiths (Swymelar); his daughter Patricia Altuchow of Murrieta, CA; his grandsons, Michael, Daniel, Christopher and Zachary Fernandez; and his stepsons, Andrew Griffiths (Carolyn) of Virginia and Brett Griffiths (Susan) of Green Lane, PA. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit (2871 Barndt Rd, Harleysville, PA 19438). A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
