She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence D. Yates and Helga S. Yates (Keisers); her in-laws, Norman and Lorraine Schuster; and her niece Katelyn.

She is survived by: her husband Troy Albert Schuster; her daughter Robyn Lynn Newman; and her son-in-law Michael Newman. She is also survived by three sisters and one brother; many nieces and nephews; seven great-nieces and a great-nephew; and several friends.
