He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Coats Fort and Florence M. Richey; his wife Joan Fort; his children, Paul Fort (Cindy Haney) and Darlene Hughes (late Donald Hughes); his grandchildren, Logan, Devin and Daniel J Fort (DJ); and his stepdaughter Joan Bickings (Glen Bickings).
