He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lester and Ethel Lucinda Gilbert (Cope); his brothers, Edward A. Gilbert and Rodney Gilbert; and his nephew Christopher Gilbert.
He is survived by: his spouse Robin Lee Gilbert (Glassmyer); his stepson David Lee Caruso of Denver, CO; his brother George L Gilbert of Perkasie; his sibling's children, Cary Gilbert, Christian Gilbert, Blake Gilbert, Scottie Glassmyer and Brianna Falencki; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Christopher G. Gilbert, Theo Glassmyer, Weston Glassmyer, Griffin Glassmyer, Brayden Falencki, Daniel C. Gilbert, Erin Gilbert and Macy Gilbert.
