He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lester and Ethel Lucinda Gilbert (Cope); his brothers, Edward A. Gilbert and Rodney Gilbert; and his nephew Christopher Gilbert.
He is survived by: his spouse Robin Lee Gilbert (Glassmyer); his stepson David Lee Caruso of Denver, CO; his brother George L Gilbert of Perkasie; his sibling's children, Cary Gilbert, Christian Gilbert, Blake Gilbert, Scottie Glassmyer and Brianna Falencki; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Christopher G. Gilbert, Theo Glassmyer, Weston Glassmyer, Griffin Glassmyer, Brayden Falencki, Daniel C. Gilbert, Erin Gilbert and Macy Gilbert.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Peter's Tohickon United Church of Christ (1071 Old Bethlehem Rd, Perkasie, PA 18944). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kellersville Club (2522 Ridge Rd, Perkasie, PA 18944).
