With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katharine K. Apple of Perkasie, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles; her former husband Robert B. Deibler; her parents, Wilson G. Kunkle and Beulah Kunkle (Kemmerer); and her son Robert Deibler, II (Frank Phillipeck) of Sellersville, PA.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Franckowiak (Jack) of Kutztown, PA; her daughter-in-law Sandy Deibler of Quakertown, PA; her stepchildren, Tom Apple (Annie) of Edwards, CO, Jeff Apple (Janice) of Satellite Beach, FL, Jon Apple (Susan) of Hilltown, PA and Betsy Shaffer (Jerry) of Perkasie, PA; her grandchildren, Jack Richard Franckowiak, II, Kate Bronson (Arthur) and Lucas Deibler Allen; her stepgrandchildren, Ashley Smith (Chaplin), Aubrie Stone (Brian), Nickolas, David Apple (Chelsea), Joshua Apple (Tessa) and Shelby Shaffer; her great grandchildren, Arthur G. Bronson, III, Lillian Grace Bronson and Robert John Bronson; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Shepard, Summit, Sawyer Smith, Palmer, Parker Stone, Beckett and Rory Apple; and her siblings, Wilson "Bill" Kunkle of Hesperia, CA, Lois Roberts of Wisconsin and Sally Jacobsen of Porterville, CA..
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (19 S 5th St, Perkasie, PA 18944).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Last Chance Ranch, 9 Beck Road, Quakertown, PA 18951.
