He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Ruth Tregaskis (Spare); and his parents, William S. Tregaskis and Ada S. Tregaskis (Jones). He is survived by: his brother James David; his daughters, Debra Tregaskis (Ralph Hawkins) and Diane Tregaskis Larson (Eric); his grandchildren, Amelia, Garrett, Thomas and Carter; his niece Susan Tregaskis Hughes (Keith); and his great-nephew Collin.
