He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen "Babe" Biachko Kurta and Robert Kurta. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Ward (Jason Thompson), Ashley Kurta-Riley (Joseph) and Kellie Kurta; his siblings, Robert Kurta (Beth Ann) and Tracey Kennedy (Frank Franci); and his grandchildren, Landen, Gavin, Margeaux and Haylen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Keith "Chooch" Kurta, a cause that was close to his heart.
