He is survived by : his sister Dr. Barbara; his nephew Dr. Martin Johns (Gretchen); his nieces, Julia Johns and Kathleen Hunt (Ben Hoyle) of North Carolina; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler, Mason, Tripp, Shane, Ellie, Kiersten, Henry and Evelyn.
