“Bernie was a long time friend of my husband (Anthony Dale Greene) who passed away January 29, 2026 after a long cancer battle. Bernie would often take time to call my husband to check on him. Bernie so graciously attended my husband’s homegoing service in February and now he has taken his rest. I have known Bernie since my elementary school days and I met my husband in Bernie’s cousin (Walter Kelley’s) barbershop at the corner of Ardleigh and Woodlawn Streets. Bernie will be missed.. Well done!”
