He is survived by : his wife Marta Torres; his children, Carmelo Jr. (Marisol), Edwin, Jorge, Carmen, Edgar (Kim), Dorene, Marizol (Terrence) and Martha (Terrence); and his siblings, Angel Torres and Maria Torres. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
