Charles leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Charles’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Charles will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Bernard and Mary Bernard (Kass); his son-in-law Richard "Rick" Owens; and his brother-in-law Alan Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Carole Anne Bernard (Schock); his children, Steven Bernard (Clayton Collier) and Joanne Owens; his granddaughters, Kelly Owens and Kristen Owens; his great grandchild Kora Schuster; and his sister Helene Peterson.
