He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia Ann Connor (Pat) of Shady Side; his parents, Samuel Doucett and Albanie Doucett; his sisters, Diane Harahan, Elizabeth Doucett, Jane Doucett and Joan Doucett; his daughters, Kathleen Palmer (Mark) and Marilyn Jones (Glenn); his granddaughters, Dana Palmwood (Ryan), Nicole Palmer, Erin Magner and Colleen Magner; his sister Claire Doucett; and his nephew James Donovan (Jennifer).
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church (1070 Cecil Ave S, Millersville, MD 21108). The inurnment will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery (1122 Sunrise Beach Rd, Crownsville, MD 21032).
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Charlie's memory to Assisted Living Well Compassionate Care or Gilchrist Hospice, in gratitude for their gentle care and kindness during Charlie's final months.
