It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Chiara Ranallo (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away at the age of 77, on October 25, 2025. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Chiara leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Kristen; her parents, Gaudenzio "Jerry" Ranallo and Anna Ranallo; and her brother Philip Ranallo. She is survived by: her children, Paul Serano (Sharon) and Melissa Kent (Daniel); and her grandchildren, Anthony and Laura Serano. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Monti-Rago Funeral Home (2531 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19148). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Monica Church (2422 S 17th St, Philadelphia, PA 19145). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at the Peter & Paul Cemetery (1600 S Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
