Edward J. Connerton Obituary

Edward J. Connerton passed away on March 23, 2021 at the age of 76. Loving father of Joseph Connerton (Laura); cherished grandfather of Taylor, Alexander, Kendall, Liam and Madysen; dear brother of Leo Connerton, Jr., Theresa Saunders, Marie Golling, Eleanor Flannigan and the late John Connerton and Catherine Bendak. Edward proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and then served the city of Philadelphia as a Police Officer for 31 years.

He was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed watching John Wayne westerns, as well as action movies. He also like to bowl and play poker and Let It Ride at the casinos. Relatives and friends are invited to Edward's Life Celebration on Thursday, April 1st, beginning at 10:30 a.m. and followed by his Funeral Service, 11:30 a.m., at John F. Givnish Life Celebration Home, 10975 Academy Rd., Phila.
