He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Scheeler and Wilmena Scheeler; his brothers, Charles and Robert Scheeler; and his son-in-law Michael "Gunner" Shutts.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Edward, Jr. (Maria), William (Debby), Doris Shutts, Michael (Lisa) and Dawn Scheeler (Joe); his sister Carol Maxwell; and his pet Smoky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anselm Catholic Church (12670 Dunks Ferry Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
