Eileen Mary Finegan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen Mary Finegan (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles A. Finegan; her parents, Charles H. Haviland and Blanche Kelly Haviland; and her sister Blanche Haviland Moore. She is survived by: her children, Mary Kelly, William (Clare) and Eileen D'Angelo (Gino); and her grandchildren, Sophia (Adam), Julia, Martha, Susanna, Charlotte, William Augustine, Clare, Virginia, Katharine, Beatrice Finegan, John Paul, Therese, Eugenia, Marc and Maria Regina D'Angelo. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19114). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Ephrem Church (5400 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (5201 Hulmeville Rd, Bensalem, PA 19020).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eileen's memory can be made to St. Katherine Drexel Shrine at the Cathedral.
