We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2025, Eleanor Allen (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Allen and Bertha Allen; and her siblings, George, John, Joseph, Edward Allen, Grace Pounder, Virginia Berry, Mary Turnbull and Bernadette Hughes.
She is survived by: her siblings, Donald Allen, Robert Allen (Linda) and Agnes Tenaglia. She is also survived by extended family that spans over 135 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 8:45 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. William's Catholic Church (6200 Rising Sun Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19111). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (3301 W Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150). A reception will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 8:45 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. William's Catholic Church (6200 Rising Sun Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19111).
