The passing of Elmer C. Stefanowicz of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Stefanowicz and Frances Stefanowicz; his siblings, Dolores Dewees (late Jack), Arthur Stefanowicz (late Marie) and Theresa Spataro (late Felix); and his son James Stefanowicz.
He is survived by: his sisters, Frances Vargas (late Edward) and Patricia Terway (late Rick); his wife Patricia; and his children, Candace Stefanowicz (Joe Tyson), Daniel Stefanowicz and Stacy Phillips. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, as well as his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Rogers Funeral Home, Inc. (1426 S 3rd St #30, Philadelphia, PA 19147). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (1404 S 3rd St, Philadelphia, PA 19147).
