It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elvira E. Coates of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Paris and Elisa Paris; and her siblings, Mary, Teresa and Tommy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda (Bill) and Debbie; her grandson Ian (Maryanne); and her great grandchildren, James, Katryna and Marcel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Resurrection of Our Lord Church (2000 Shelmire Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19152). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations in Elvira's memory to Fox Chase Cancer Center 333 Cottman Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19111 would be appreciated by the family.
