Gambrell; his brothers, Rickey B. Gambrell (Ophelia) of Anderson, S. C. and Rev. Frederick D. Gambrell (Annette) of Atlanta, GA; and his sister-in-law Patricia Gambrell of Anderson, S. C. He is also survived by six nephews, a host of great nephews, great nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
