He was predeceased by: his godson Shane Carpenter; his brother Francis Carpenter (Darlene); and his parents, Geraldine Carpenter and Charles Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Julie Carpenter; his children, Ren Walter (Kathi), Jeffrey (Siobhan), Alicia, Gerry, Angeline Veneziani (Michael), Scott, Anthony Busa, Tim (Nicole) and Joseph Busa (Tara); his godchildren, Brandon Carpenter and Helen O'Kane-Hearn; and his siblings, Susan Murtagh (Joe), Patrick, Charles, Collette DiPietro (late Joseph) and Tina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
