It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald R. Burns Sr. (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jenny; his children, Gerald R. Burns, Jr. (Nidya) and Jennifer Cherkis; his grandchildren, Gerald III, Matthew, Paul III, Kyle, Joseph, Angelina, Raquel and Rafael; and his siblings, Raymond Burns (Dawn), Mariann McNally (Michael) and Robert Burns. He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews, and large extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the FOP Lodge 5 Survivors Fund, 11360 Caroline Rd. Phila., PA 19154 would be appreciated.
