She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ennis and Bernette Ennis (Coleman); her siblings, James Ennis, Henry Ennis Jr., David Ennis, Evelyn Skinner, Jeanette Griffin, Dorothy Ennis and Constance Cole; her husband Paul Smith Sr.; and her sons, Victor Smith and Paul Smith Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Erika Grayes (Byron) and Debra Smith-Broadus (Vernon); and her grandchildren, Naseer Vann, John Johnson, Cassaundra Smith, Amenna Redmond and Keith Young-Smith. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and a host relatives and friends.
