He is survived by: his mother Ramona Dates (Oliver); his wife Donna Dates (Hansford); his mother-in-law Joy Hansford; his children, Danielle and Darnell (Lauren); his stepchildren, Nikiya Williams (Nate) and Jerold Bell (Fama); his siblings, Kevin, Anthony (Phyllis), Malik White and Michelle Jones (Gary); his grandchildren, Asaad and Janel; his aunts and uncles, King Oliver (Theresa), Carroll Syndor, Patricia Oliver, Virginia Dates, Joyce Syndor, Sissy Syndor and Edna Syndor; and his cousin Zina Oliver-Hardy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
