He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lee Shannon and Erma L. Shannon. He is survived by: his sons, Nacier Wylie and Jerome L. Greene; and his siblings, Gerald Shannon, Beverly Shannon, Marlene Shannon and Symira Shannon.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Alfonso Cannon Funeral Chapels, Inc. (2315-19 N Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19132). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Though we knew each other in passing while growing up in the neighborhood and attending various schools, I really got to know Jerome while working at the Social Security Administration for over 30-plus years. May God cover you all during this time of bereavement.”
