We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2025, at the age of 81, John Thomas Murray (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Anna and John Thomas Murray; and his pet Shadow. He is survived by: his close friend Marge Canovaro; his siblings, Lucy Anna "Anne" Smith (Richard), Nancy M. Murray (James), Joseph P. Murray (Dorothy) and George A. Murray (Mary); his siblings' children, Kelly Bernazzoli (Chris), James Murray, Kimberly Berkheimer (John), Lori Fink (Derek), Rich Smith, Maxwell Murray and George Murray; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cailin, Sara, Sydney, Nicholas, Colin, Carter, Henry and Noah.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Monti-Rago Funeral Home (2531 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19148). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (626 Baily Rd, Yeadon, PA 19050).
