He is survived by: his spouse Willie Myers; his mother Martha Sinclair Staley; his sisters, Darlene Grafton (Glenn) and Sharon Lapiska (John); his nieces, Laura, Rebecca and Rose; his nephew Joshua; and his siblings-in-law, Geva, Gea, Clara Myers, Carletha Shakoor, Karl Myers and Richard Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in John's memory to the Burholme Baptist Church, 905 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.

“Dear Martha, Darlene and Sharon: I am sorry to hear of John’s passing. We use to always sit behind the Sinclair’s at Davisville Church! John use to work at (I think it is called) Ollards in Southampton. My friend, Cindy Lynch, and I would ride our bikes to go visit John, Scott Bloomer, and Andy Braun. That was such a fun store! Ah memories! Now Cindy is gone and John is gone. It is always hard to hear someone your age has passed away at such a young age!! Charlotte (Peterson) Walleisa”
