She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cook and Ruth Garrett Cook; her siblings, James Lee, Billy Ray, Lonnie, Raymond and Rosanell; and her husband Donald Baxter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donnette Paris of Philadelphia, PA and Michelle Mack of Philadelphia, PA; her siblings, Rev. Onnie Cook of Beckley, WV, Carl Cook of Beckley, WV, Athelene "Dean" Greer of Beckley, WV and Barbara "Sissy" Mitchell of Beckley, WV; her sister-in-law Diane Cook of Columbia, SC; her granddaughters, Brittany Paris Slivar and Bethany Paris; her grandson-in-law Matthew Slivar; and her pet Man. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ivy Hill Cemetery Chapel (1201 Easton Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Ivy Hill Cemetery (1201 Easton Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19150).
