He was predeceased by : his parents, William Garnett and Lottie Garnett; his wife Ida Garnett; his son Kenneth Lee Garnett; and his siblings, Bennie, Alphonzo, William (Jeiss), Jessie, James Lee, Martha, Georgia Lee, Ludie Mae and Louise.

He is survived by : his daughter Little Kenny; his grandchildren, Delceia, Monique, Ulanda, Little Vincent, Duane, Jill, Shira, Joseph Jr., Barbara and Madera Garnett; his daughter Michelle; his daughter-in-law Lynn; his children, Hazel, Allen, Paul, Lester, Tony and Petal; and his brothers, Wilbert, Herbert (Rosemary), Robert (Lula) and Carl (Bernice). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren than you could count, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
