He was predeceased by: his parents, James Costello and Elizabeth Costello; and his sisters, Joanne Goetz (Michael), Kathleen Costello and Linda Kallas (late Robert).
He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Long (Kevin); his grandchildren, Michael, Caitlynn, Benjamin, Amelia and Emmanuel; and his sisters, BettyAnne Hurlbert (Derek), Maureen McLaughlin (Michael) and Karen Bathe (Christopher). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church (820 N Hills Ave, Glenside, PA 19038). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.
