He is survived by: his son Luis II; his wife Isavel Guzman-Ortiz; his children, Jeanette "Angie", Naomi, Hector, Edwin and Yamilet; his grandchildren, Zion, Clarisel, Genesis, John, Kiara, Luis III, Desiree and Gio; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Soleil, Samira, Jermiah, Joniel, Katara, Ethan, Chris, Eliana, Elanie and Aaliyah; his mother Geronima; and his siblings, Maritza, Zoraida and Hector. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
