We bid farewell to Margaret Atkinson (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 10, 2025 at the age of 97. Margaret touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Bud Atkinson; and her brothers, Herman Poehler and John Woltman. She is survived by: her children, Frank Atkinson (Joanne), Peg Kroger (Don) and Richard Atkinson (Angela); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Andrew, Richard, Katie, Gretchen, Becky, Manda, Sarah, Krystilyn and Jacob; and her brother Adam Woltman.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethesda Presbyterian Church (808 Red Lion Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19115). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory may be made to Bethesda Presbyterian Church or the GAR Museum.
