She was predeceased by: her spouse José Abreu; and her siblings, José, Arminda and Assunção. She is survived by: her children, Yolanda (Tony, Jr.), Joe and Teresa (Peter); her grandchildren, Tony, III (Cathy), Kristina (Travis), Dinora and Margaret Mary; her great grandchildren, Jon, Hope, Samantha and Alex; and her nieces, Judite (José) and Marlene (Sebastião).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Cantius Church (4412 E Thompson St, Philadelphia, PA 19137). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (3301 W Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150).
