It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Hofmann (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Mary find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

She was predeceased by: her husband Leo A. Hofmann (Navy); and her granddaughter Danielle Hofmann. She is survived by: her children, Leo Hofmann (Linda Reilly), Thomas Hofmann (Sharon), Nancy Fraga (John) and Louise Anne Berry; and her sisters, Margaret and Kathleen. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.

Instead of a donation, the family asks that everyone send a hand written letter or card to someone they know or love, even if it's just to say have a great day and enjoy every day of life.
