With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael J. Morrissey of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel and Isabel; his siblings, Sam (Toni), Barbara Morrissey and Anne Brady (Terence); his siblings' children, Trista, Nicholle, Sylvia, Dan and Kellyanne; and his pet Middie.
A reception will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Edward J. Petner Funeral Home Ltd. (6421 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19135). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mike's name to the AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION.
